If you’ve been on Instagram recently, you’ve probably seen a lot of excitement over the Nordstrom Anniversary sale. This isn’t a surprise, because it’s a pretty good one! You might also be thinking, why is everyone talking about fall fashion when it’s only July. I hear you, and I completely agree. But, I also know a good sale when I see one, so you won’t want to miss this one!
The best time to shop is pre-season sales (if they are available) and post season sales. For example, I’ll start to purchase several summer blouses and sandals once fall rolls around and save them for next year.
Here are a few fall staples from the Nordstrom anniversary sale that you’ll want to add to your wardrobe. I’ll also highlight some summer items that you’ll want to snatch before they’re gone.
5 Fall Essentials From the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale
If you don’t already own an oversized cardigan or vest, go ahead and get one. Trust me, you’ll wear it a lot come fall and winter. They’re perfect for laying over knits, tees, and other sweaters.
Sweaters under $60
This grey cardigan is neutral in color and simple in style. I love the simple bow detailing around the sleeves on this one, and it comes in petite! This sweater is very over-sized, but it could be worn as a jacket early-to-late fall.
Sweaters under $100
Booties are a great transition shoe for fall to winter and winter to spring. There are endless styles of booties, but a few favorites are these perforated booties here, here, and here. This bootie is from last season, but also a good deal.
Over the knee (OTK) boots aren’t going anywhere, so if you missed out on getting a pair last year, now’s your chance! I’ve been eyeing this one here and here. This OTK boot is an old style, but it’s 50% off.
A classic tee (here or here) is a must! They’re easy to layer under dresses, jumpsuits, or even a flannel shirt. One trend that’s been super popular is the front knot. This tee is perfect for knotting yourself or you can purchase one that already has a front tie like this one here and here.
