I’m getting more and more excited about fall this year — maybe it’s because we’ve been experiencing a lot of humidity lately, but I think I’m just excited about the fall festivities such as hiking, apple picking, hay rides, hot cocoa, and wood burning fires.
This time of year tends to be the coziest for me since the temperature is a little crisp without being too cold. If you love wearing floral tops throughout the year, then you’re in luck this fall! Vintage inspired florals are a hot trend this season. You’ll see it on everything from casual tops and blouses, kimonos (similar to this look) and dresses. Here are three easy ways you can transition your floral blouses to fall:
Pair it with a high-waisted skirt and pumps:
Don’t put your crop tops away just yet! Throw it on with your best high-waisted skirt during the day. If you have a button down blouse, try tying it in a front knot. This provides a similar look to wearing a crop top.
Throw on a pair of high-waisted white jeans:
Wearing white jeans after Labor Day has been popular for years and isn’t going away anytime soon. I finally found the perfect white jeans recently, so I’ll be wearing mine all year long.
Add a chunky cardigan:
Long cardigans are a great transitional piece, so if you don’t own any, here are a few you will love this season!
