Right around this time of year, I start feeling like I need a vacation. What about you? I’m still amazed that it’s almost December, because fall just flew by. We’ve been super busy on the weekends with different home projects and a personal project I’ll be sharing with you very soon, so we haven’t had much time to relax! That word seems a little foreign to us right now, so The Mr. and I agreed we needed a mini vacation to unwind. The Graduate Charlottesville invited us to stay at their hotel the other weekend, and the invite couldn’t have been more timely.
If you’ve never heard of this hotel then you’re in for a treat! The Graduate Charlottesville is a retro-inspired boutique hotel that sits in the heart of the UVA campus. I immediately fell in love with the décor, vintage books, wallpaper and mix of modern vibes throughout the hotel.
We actually spent a lot of time in this sitting area and the game room. The space is so inviting and the windows let in some of the best morning light.
We ate all our meals at the Heirloom Rooftop+Bar and Sheepdog Cafe. Both restaurants were amazing! Their food selection was on point, and I can happily say, they have some pretty good coffee…Sheepdog Cafe even carries Lamplighter cold brew!
Our room was cozy with a great view of the city. We were able to walk around town and hit up Carter’s Mountain on our way into town. Check out this earlier post on our apple picking adventure!
If you’re looking for a mini vacation, be sure to add the Graduate Charlottesville to your list of places to stay. There’s so much to do in this city, and you can’t beat the price of this stylish boutique hotel.
Thank you to the Graduate Charlottesville for hosting us!
